INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT FROM YOU:

You may also be asked for additional details during the ordering and membership process, such as credit or debit card information to allow us to complete your orders.

During the membership and ordering processes you may be asked for some or all of the following information: Gender, Forename, Surname, Date of Birth, Initials, Title, Company Name, Company Address, Home Address, Postcode, Country, Telephone, E-Mail, Username & Password, Next of Kin and Contact Number, British Cycling Membership Number.

The information we request will be the minimum amount required for us to successfully complete your membership or website order. You may also need to give us details of any alternate delivery or invoice addresses which differ from your usual address. Additional space is provided for these extra details during the ordering procedure.

We may also collect information about your usage of our website as well as information about you from e-mails or communications we send you. We use and analyze the information we collect so that we can administer, support, improve and develop our club and website.

Further, where you have consented as part of the registration process, we will send you details of relevant news and promotions via email. This information is collected on an ‘Opt In’ basis to ensure that you only receive the news, promotions and emails that you ask for. The only exceptions to this are emails that will be generated during the transactional process i.e. order confirmations, delivery information etc. We may contact you by post or, telephone, as well as by email. If you change your mind about being contacted in the future, please let us know. If you ask us not to contact you again, we will update our records to ensure that we don’t.

The information you provide is used solely by 7 Hills Cycling Club. The 7 Hills Cycling Club will not share the information you provide with any outside organisations. The 7 Hills Cycling Club is registered under the Data Protection Act 2018.

The information you provide to us will be held on our computers in the UK and may be accessed by or given to our staff working outside the UK and third parties some of whom may be located outside the European Economic Area who act for us for the purposes set out in this policy or for other purposes approved by you. If you would like to change your details in the future, log into the site as normal and select the ‘My Account’ button from the main navigation bar and then choose the ‘Account Admin’ then the ‘Change My Details’ option from the menu.

You are entitled to see the information held about you and you may ask us to make any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate, kept up to date or removed if there is no legitimate reason for keeping it.
